The par 5 fourth hole really is a double edged sword…the most challenging hole you are likely to face on any golf course, but also one of the most picturesque! Although this isn’t the longest par 5 in the world, to achieve a green in regulation here is no mean feat. Straight hitting is paramount to success due to the narrow, double dog leg fairway, which first goes right to left and then left to right. A well positioned tee shot played to the first of these dog legs is rewarded with a wider target for the 2nd shot. Water surrounds the left hand side of the green and an accurate approach shot is required to the deep, narrow 2-tier green. This is a great golf hole and has to be seen to be believed.
