The par 5 eighth hole is straight and relatively long with a wide fairway which slopes gently from left to right. Finding the fairway is certainly advantageous here, with out of bounds left and a steep bank to the right sure to prevent a good score. The approach shot to the green must be accurate in order to miss trouble in one of the many bunkers which hug the large green. Putting is not too much trouble here, with a relatively flat green, which sports some mild slopes in places.
