The Bar and Bistro welcomes bookings from the general public as well as our guests and residents. We offer a series of light bites and delightful specials in our bar, and an extensive a la carte menu which is available every evening in our restaurant. Just sit back and relax whilst taking in the panoramic countryside views or experience alfresco dining on our sun terrace on those long sunny days of summer.

Association, we commit to using superb local primary products of meat,
fish and shellfish, as well as our locally produced cream, icecream,
cheese, smoked foods, pastries, fine wines, liqueurs, ciders and fruit
juices. These give South Devon its distinct culinary identity, which
is waiting for you to discover.
Sourcing the best local suppliers...
Under the direction of Executive Head Chef, Robert Walsh, we ensure that you experience the very best of local food…Two of the hotel’s neighbouring farms supply much of the raw meat, Brockner & Sons of Dartmouth supply dairy products to the club, while seafood is purchased from Dartmouth Fishmongers “Moby Nicks” and local fish markets.
The Dartmouth Smoke House provide all smoked food to the kitchen, while “La Baguette” of Dartmouth supply bread as well as the bread baked daily in the kitchen here! Our guests enjoy the Ice Cream from the renowned Langage Farm of South Devon while general food products are purchased from West Country Fine Foods of Newton Abbot.
In addition, the hotel purchases only fair-trade coffee, tea and sugar, while all fruit and vegetables are purchased from a local wholesaler in Kingsbridge.
Our Executive Head Chef, Robert Walsh...
... trained in home town of Brixham for over 10 years, situated just across the River Dart. His passion for local ingredients originated from the historic fishing town, where the very best local catches and locally reared meats were availble to him.
His love of the local area and close relationships with local suppliers has brought enthusiam and a new direction to the dining experince at Dartmouth Golf & Country Club.
Robert has created new menus to reflect the delights our local area has to offer....
